Brief
Elemi John Opara is a Legal Practitioner with dexterity and expertise in the Oil and Gas sector. Elemi also advises Clients on renewable energy issues and the need for mixed energy and non-reliance on fossil fuel; oil and gas management; resolution of disputes; energy law and policy; taxation; health safety and environment management; etc.
Since 2014, Elemi has been a Lecturer at the University of Calabar [UNICAL], Cross Rivers State, Nigeria, in the Faculty of Law lecturing Oil and Gas Law. Previously, she has lectured Commercial Law, Human Rights Law, Administrative Law, Nigerian Legal System and Anti- Corruption Studies. Elemi is a Member of the Faculty Research Committee of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar [UNICAL]. She is a Partner of Black Rex Partners.
